Watching Don Quixote got me obsessing over Matsuda Shota again which reminded me I have yet to finish Liar Game: Final Stage. So I did and now I’m re-watching Liar Game S1 and obsessing over Akiyama x Nao again (of the live action. Never read the manga). They must have the most obscure-yet-obvious romance in fandom ever because in 2 seasons and 1 movie of Liar Game, they have such ridiculously scant amount of physical contact despite being stuck together in a confine space for an extended period of time and no one ever says the magic four letter word. Yet, I find it incredibly romantic how Akiyama saves Nao physically in the game but it’s Nao who saves Akiyama’s heart by letting him trust another person again.
Nao’s the only one who can render Akiyama speechless. I wonder what sort of mental images Akiyama had when Nao talked about being S or M. heehee.

I knew from the first few episodes that this was going to be funny but I didn’t expect it to have so much heart. It made me laugh, made me cry, made me laugh while crying, made me squee while laughing … yea, it made me a mad woman. Jdramas have this ability to do feel good touching scenes without making it overwrought and even though you know the situation is idealistic, it still makes you go aww and want to rush in for a group hug.
They make me want to huggles the yakuza. Most episodes are centred around the child welfare cases and Sabashima’s relationship with his wife/underlings/his yakuza boss is often in the background but their love is in the details and it really touched me.
Where on earth do they find so many adorable kids to steal my heart??
Sabashima quit his job at the welfare centre to get back at Shirota and for his final job, he was tasked with choosing adoptive parents for a kid who had suffered serious abuse by his father. Initially, he was half-hearted about the whole thing and instead of properly investigating the prospective parents, he decided to ask the kid for his opinion on what kind of adoptive parents he wanted to speed up the process. Guess what was the kid’s criteria?
Someone who wouldn’t beat me, someone who would give me food to eat, someone who wouldn’t lock me in the closet. Oh, there’s one more. Someone who wouldn’t say ‘I don’t want a kid like you, go and die.’ *bawls* The kid said it in such a matter-of-fact way it broke my heart and made me want to go beat up his useless dad.
Of course, we have our oddball tag team of wimpy yakuza boss and gangsta child welfare officer who never fails to provide the laughs.

Just read on baidu forum that Matsuda Shota will be starring in another Liar Game movie but Nao will be replaced by a new character created for the movie. WHAT????? How can my Mr. and Mrs. Akiyama be separated?! T__T
Yay! B.E.G got 1st on Inkigayo and we get to see the Adam couple again. Check out how Kwon was all smiles after he peeked at his mc card before anouncing the results and when B.E.G came forward to receive the award, he instinctively (? :p) handed the mike to Ga-In though Narsha was standing beside him.
ROFL. Poor wifey Ga-In has had her spot in B.E.G replaced by Jo-sabang who is obviously very much loved by the noonas. Even if they are not dating in real life (though I choose to believe that they are. heeh), seeing the Adam couple together will always put a smile on my face. ♥
For those who are not into Korean entertainment and have no idea who I’m talking about, the ‘Adam couple’ consists of Jo Kwon from 2AM and Ga-In from Brown Eyed Girls. They participated in the Korean variety/reality programme ‘We Got Married’ where celebrities are matched up to play ‘married’ couples on the show and go on dates, prepare events for each other etc. Even if you’re not into Korean entertainment, I highly recommend you check out the Adam couple’s cut on the show available here with Eng subs. They are so funny and entertaining, not to mention utterly adorable together. I stopped watching WGM after they left the show because no other couples could surpass them in my heart!

Dome has broken up with his gf Paint though he says they didn’t ‘break up’ because they weren’t bf/gf to begin with … erm, ok, whatever you say. When asked about her response to Dome being single again, Ploy says there will be many girls queuing up now and as for her, she will praise Dome as being cute. Dome and Ploy went through a lot in their relationship and I don’t know the details but seems like Dome was a bit of a playboy and Ploy finally had enough. Ploy looks really happy with her current bf Navin and as her fan I hope she gets all the love and happiness but a part of me still secretly ships Dome/Ploy because they are so darn cute together.

New and younger boy idol groups are always coming out but my age has nowhere to go but up so I’ve gone from fangirling older guys (Backstreet Boys) to my peers (KAT-TUN) to boys born in a different decade. Sigh. Maybe I should stop watching Korean variety shows with idol groups. They get me hooked on adorkable boys and I get reduced to a puddle of goo when they do things like make cute faces on tv.
I’ve heard a couple of Shinee’s hit songs due to their immense popularity but I wasn’t a fan … not till ‘Hello Baby’ got me in with the overflowing cute-ness of both baby Yooguen and appa Shinee.
Key is too much of a diva for him to not be my favourite.

Introducing the Adam couple!
If you’re into Korean entertainment, you’re probably familiar with them already but me being the K-ent laggard, had just got onto the “We got married” bandwagon. Simply put, WGM is a reality show where celebrities are paired up to be ‘married’ and they are given tasks to complete together. I actually started on WGM watching another couple – Nichkhun (2PM) and Victoria (f(x)).
They are the newest couple on the show (only been ‘married’ a few months I believe?) and they are really sweet together but as there aren’t that many episodes of them for me to watch yet, I checked out the Adam couple. Then boom, I fell in love with them. Khuntoria is lovely to watch and I do like them a lot too but the Adam couple is totally on another level. They are hilarious as they bicker and whine but they also do many touching things for each other that will surely make you go awwwww. Jo Kwon is super adorable as the little husband (he’s 2 years younger than Ga In) who may act childishly at times but you can see he tries really hard to please his wife. On the other hand, Ga In is a sharp tongue wife but she has also done her share of touching things for her Kwonnie. 维尼夫妇的画面很美丽，害羞的两人在一起也确实可爱，不过可能太美好所以感觉像童话故事般遥不可及。虽然明星在节目上扮夫妻原本就不怎么真实， 亚当夫妇的斗嘴直率却很亲切，偶尔耍脾气撒撒娇，就像一般情侣。我和许多观众一样，由衷希望亚当夫妇在节目结束后能真正成为情侣（如果他们还不是的话！），因为他们是在太~相配了！
